Partnering with leading hospitals, we provide quality healthcare for all ages and nationalities, dedicated to becoming your trusted community clinic.
Welcome to Shinju Memorial Clinic
In 2024, we're opening on the ground floor of the Supermarket OK Store Minatomirai Building (Yokohama, Kanagawa). Our goal is to provide outpatient care at the level of university hospitals, blending highly specialized medical expertise from university settings with the approachability of home visit physicians for our local community. By closely collaborating with institutional hospitals, we aim to expand our services to cater to the health needs of children and adults, regardless of nationality, and become a trusted healthcare provider in the community.

Specialties
We specialize in internal medicine, pediatrics, and hematology. Additionally, we offer general medical services including dermatology, orthopedics, and primary emergency care. Health check-ups are available for adults, and we also provide various vaccinations.
Clinic Hours
To ensure the well-being of our community, we offer medical services every day 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. However, we'll be closed during the year-end and New Year holidays when the OK Minatomirai Building is closed. Appointments are preferred for consultations, but we also welcome walk-in visits. We recommend making reservations in advance (online or by phone) for same-day appointments as well to save your time.
Medical Conditions to Visit
We cater to all age groups and aim to contribute to the health promotion of local residents. In adults, our services range from managing lifestyle-related diseases like hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes, to treating common infections such as upper respiratory tract infections, gastroenteritis, and urinary tract infections, as well as specialized hematologic disorders like anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia. We also provide outpatient follow-up for patients under- or post-treatment for malignant tumors or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. With a focus on hematology, we offer highly specialized care based on our experience in university hospitals. Additionally, as a clinic providing primary emergency medical care in the community, we offer initial treatment for common injuries such as wound suturing, burn treatment, and pressure ulcer care. In pediatrics, we manage common conditions like upper respiratory tract infections, otitis media, gastroenteritis, bronchial asthma, and allergic rhinitis. Leveraging our English proficiency, we provide routine medical care to English-speaking residents from foreign countries who may find it challenging to communicate in Japanese.

Clinic Name Origin
We pay tribute to our family member who have been pillars of community healthcare by naming our clinic after him, Dr. Shinju, a skillful and trusted gynecologist. We are committed to operating the clinic with a shared ethos of supporting the health and well-being of our local residents. While medical fields may evolve and specialize, we believe that community clinics like ours should remain accessible to all patients, offering initial guidance and referrals to specialized care when needed. Our clinic's logo embodies our commitment to guiding patients on their healthcare journey.
